Wayfinder Stories by Greer S. Vega

Wayfinder Stories are rooted in one simple belief: that every child deserves stories that help them navigate life. Not lectures, not sugarcoated lessons—but honest, practical, meaningful tales that offer laughter, courage, and direction when it matters most.
In every culture, the four cardinal directions carry meaning—guiding travelers, marking cycles, and pointing to what matters most. In the world of Wayfinder Stories, these directions offer more than geography. They reflect the kinds of truths kids need as they grow.

North — Know Yourself
The place of stillness and strength. Here, stories help kids name their feelings, trust their instincts, and build confidence from the inside out.

East — Stay Curious
The place of new beginnings. These stories encourage questions, exploration, and the courage to wonder—even when the answers aren’t easy.

South — Care About Others
The place of warmth and connection. These stories nurture empathy, kindness, and the ability to see what others carry.

West — Be True to You
The place of reflection and return. These stories guide kids as they claim their voice, celebrate who they are, and find where they belong.

Some stories are quiet. Some are silly. Some are big and adventurous. But all of them are practical, purposeful, and filled with heart. My goal is simple: to create books that help kids grow—and that families reach for again and again because they work.

Whether it’s the cheeky parrot Peeko learning to be kind, a glitter covered monster named Ziffy discovering where they belong, or an embarrassed young Frankie finding confidence in her swimsuit, each Wayfinder story is a small light to help readers find their own way.
